As you know, we still do all that stuff AND bring home the bacon, beef, venison.....!

This weekend my crock pot will have a steamy brew of bison chili. I can't wait to get it going! Oh, and tonight I am making home made chicken soup with a home raised bird.

Come and cut me some firewood and you can have a bowl or two.

Actually, this is not my elk bull (wish it was), it belongs to a lady hunter on the site that the link goes to. I thought her bull was exceptional and wanted to share it with the regulars here.

Encouragement from you experienced guys goes a long way to promoting the sport to the ladies, which is what you should be doing! Perhaps some of you will post a comment there for her.

I must warn you, I am an expensive woman. I have a bad habit of going on pricey hunting trips and would expect if I were to go through the trouble of getting hitched that I would be kept in the manor I am accustomed to! The right guy would take me on a New Mexico bull elk hunt.
