I believe this topic was covered some time back, but I couldn't find it. I will hopefully be elk & mule deer hunting in N.W. Colorado next fall. I'm wondering which boots would be best. It will be in early Nov. I'm expecting snow to be on the ground. My feet feel most comfortable in flat bottom soft soled boots at work as I spend 12 hours a day on the concrete. Thanks for your imput.

I use meindls for warm to moderate temperatures as they have great support for rough terrain and break in very quickly. For very cold weather I use schnee packs made in bozeman montana. They are the best pack boot that I have used for walking or climbing in rough terrain.
