When to use the Nos-Bal-Tip is at paper or varmints. At that yardage they will still fragment in to pieces with the 308's velocity. Stay with what you have or try the 165gr Hornady Interbonds if you want a poly or plastic tip bullet.

Even the Scirocco would do a fine job.
