Does anybody have a recomendation for a Grizzly bear hunt (looking for spring or fall of 2015) where you dont have to take a bush plane in. To be honest they scare me. yes I know for a lot of hunts I will have to take one, but just not ready yet.
Ideal would be a British Columbia hunt where you fly into a airport and drive to camp from there.
A boat hunt is OK too, where they pick you up at the airport, and go right to the boat.
Not much into spike camps, but wall tent camps are Ok.
Please let me know your recomendations.
Thanks,
W.Smiler

Woodsie
I hunted Spring Grizzly with Bill Stevenson (Alaska Outfitters) a few years ago.

I flew into Anchorage and he picked me up, there were no bush flights needed on my hunt.

Good Luck

Been listening to mine so long I guess she's beginning to wear off on me!

Good luck with the baby. Been there, done that!

Pussies....................

I walked away from this one. Fractured my ankle one week into the hunt (9 days before this) but kept on going.

I leave for Kodiak April 18, can't wait.
