According to the email I got, this beauty was taken in IL. Reminiscent of Larson's 'bummer of a birthmark, Hal' cartoon, I thought.

L. David Keithcould be a April fools trick??? Otherwise, I'd say a melanistic color phase, but the white tail is suspicious. I've seen it happen in Leopard however.

J P BakerIts real but not sure where it was shot, you know how the captions of email photos are changed all the time.
Yes it is a melanistic color phase we have a heard of them around the Austin,Tx area.
