With the push-feed vs. CRF wars in full swing, i was just wondering are there any others out there that have problem with either deesign, or that don't really care either way, or am i on my own on this one?

I have both and am very happy with both. I have never had a rifle with a feed or extraction problem. But here is the deal, ol' Mr.Murphy has a permanent seat behind me, and I trust nothing. My father taught me a long time ago, there is a tool for every job, and a job for every tool. Use the right one or don't try. Each rifle or tool has it's own special use. Other things may be made to work, but Murphy will slap you down sooner or later.
Curtis, I've stated before that I do like certain push-feed actions very much, especially the Mark V, Sako (all versions), and post-68 Model 70.
Even so, I hunt almost exclusively with CRF bolt-guns these days. I like the way they feed. They work just as well for the hunting of inoffensive deer, elk, and African plainsgame species as they do for potentially dangerous game that can kill you.
Carnivore never had a rifle with problems you are one very lucky guy. I can't even count any more the times they have failed. Of the dozens of rifles I have shot most of the time they work. But when it comes to DGR's I well stick with Control feed .

p dog shooter, I'll clarify that statement a bit. I have been through good and bad but the current stable has been trouble free for many years. If I had a problem the rifle went down the road. I do not have a stopper caliber rifle (YET) but a few M-98's and variants. Also a Sako, Savage, and Rem 700. I don't really care what it is as long as it works well, and yes, I would consider myself very lucky with the equipment I have chosen. Good books, articles, experience, and forums such as this helped me make some good decisions. Most days I would rather be lucky than good anyhow.
