Hey guys, I just wanted to share my story of success with you all.It was monday nov 27 first day of the pennsylvania rifle season. About 7 am when 3 buck running together snuck up behind me, the first two were small probably last years deer, one was a four point the second was a small six and the last one, the one I shot, was a nice 8 point he measured 17.5 inside with one broken point and had very heavy curling of at the ends of the main beams almost touching then they curled upwards, the tip of the one main beam was flat. The shot was about 70 yds quartering away, I was up on a hill about 15 feet above him and he was in high brush only offering a spine or high neck shot, so i shot him in the spine and the bullet exited the off side shoulder blade,he field dressed 175# I was using a savage 116 weather warrior in 300 win mag with a laminate stock and 26in ss barrel and action the load was a federal factory load shooting 180 grn speer hot cor at 2960. Now I have to go get my doe.I tried to post a pic of him last night but apparently me being a new member i dont have the permission to post a pic. if anyone can help me figure it out i will try again thanks

Congrat's bill23! Email me the pict's (bill@wyodata.com) and I'll be happy to post them. There should be no restrictions on your account. EDIT: Here's the pictures as emailed (bill23 said his camera is buggered, unless that suit is indeed pink and not orange!):
