I have a priceless pic hanging in my camp of my late dad and myself. We are standing in the garage in our old home with my first buck hanging between us. It was a very large deer and it looks it. I was 15 then and my dad 45. He is wearing the old fashion high leather boots that were still used at that time in the mid 50's.

This pic is of My grandfather, the priest and a neighbor taken along the Mcleod River Alberta. in 1936, They went across the ice in cold wether, it warmed up and the ice went out. They stayed there a week until the ice came back and they got home. Its great to have some info on these historic hunts. BR

My Dad was not a hunter but as an ex WW2 Marine knew guns. He allowed me BB guns at an early age then a .22 single shot when I was ten. We never hunted big game together. I have a B&W picture that I found after his death in an old album of he and I standing together. I was maybe 9 years old and I'm holding my NEW Red Ryder BB gun, the replacement for my older one that I literally wore out. THATS probably MY favorite photo with my Dad. FN
