My wife shot this cow yesterday morning, 260yds with her 7mm-08. I load 140gr TSX bullets in it. She blew up the heart, the elk walked maybe 20ft and piled up, we hunted maybe 20 minutes!! We saw a small herd and were making a move on them when we came up on some different animals and got a shot at them instead. I was able ,with a little 4wd, to get the truck right up to it, a fun morning and half a years worth of meat, I need to kill a cow too!!
