I don't know where to post this question. perhaps the moderators can help. In any case does anyone have experience buying a rifle overseas and then bringing it into the USA? Some questions: 1. If you are accompanying the rifle (bringing it in), what paperwork is required? Pay taxes? 2. Suppose you are not accompanying the rifle? Same question. 3. Do you need a "broker" or FFL hlder? Et. etc. I believe that this may have been asked before but I can't seem to find the threads. Thanks, Peter. Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong;

Gunbroker has an FAQ on importing rifles into the US. You have to scroll down a bit on this page: http://www.gunbroker.com/Suppo...FAQID=1110&NoCount=1 - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... It entices its bearer into primeval forests, into mountains and deserts untenanted by man. - Horace Kephart
