Will some good soul enlighten me what the devil Winchester is talking about with the "Push Feed Bolt?" What is the difference between this and any Model 70. I thought they were all "push feed."

Sorry if I'm being dense. [Frown]

Pecos45,

The "push feed" they are refering to is the same style as the Remington 700's. It is lacking the exrtactor claw that makes it a controled round feed. I typicaly think of Win. M70's as CRF however not all are that way.

Hope this helps

they mostly use the push feed in the coyote modle and the el cheapo M70s, Pecos. It doesn't look like their going to go push feed on the whole line.

Thanks all, I checked out the coyote model. Nice looking and feeling rifle although the action makes you think it's a Remington. Trigger terrible.

Ended up buying Win M70 in feather weight .243.
Now the work begins. [Big Grin]
