Greg Krogh and Jack Brittingham do it again. Opening morning Jack killed this 3x4 with a small extra drop tine eye guard and it grosses 208 7/8"

It kills me I wasn't there with them. With my son due in 2 weeks I just could not make it happen this year

When I was there 2 years ago with Greg and Jack it was close to 100 every day. Miserable sitting in the sun all day looking through spotters but it pays off

I'm heading out next week to help my Wyoming buddy on an archery elk hunt north of Elko and then we're going over to the Beatys unit in se OR on a ten day Cali Sheep tag he drew. Then we're back to NV for the remainder of the elk season that closes on 9/16 if he doesn't tag out the first week. I'm not looking forward to the heat that we'll probably still have on both those hunts!

Grosses 208 7/8" and he is over 30 on the frame and has main beams over 27". Thats all I know but I was talking with Greg before they killed it and he called him over 200" then. I have been with Greg where we second guess measurements in the field and ding em pretty bad only to find that we were right the first time. He told me it was a 200" deer from the get go so I cannot imagine what this buck looked like on the hoof. He said it was one of the biggest framed deer he has ever seen and if you have seen the deer that he has guided on thats saying something
