CHEYENNE — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department recently completed drawings for nonresident hunters. The agency says 7,250 nonresident hunters received full price elk licenses. The department also issued more than 1,200 reduced price cow/calf elk licenses. The numbers of licenses issued this year were similar to previous years, but applications were down about 6 percent from the 2010 drawing. This year, the department processed 18,476 nonresident elk applications compared to 19,629 applications processed in 2010. Nonresidents who did not draw or get into the drawing this year will have another opportunity to get a license in July. | ||
