I bought my first gun through Davidson's a few days ago and i was wondering about the other ones.

Process went quickly and was very smooth.

Have any of you used CDNN or Buds?

Hardest part about this whole world of guns is finding the guns you want. Odds are you won't get what you want if you want isn't covered by various AR or plain vanilla Walmart models.

I have purchased from many different on line suppliers and never had an issue. Bud's, Sarco CDNN, many many others no trouble.
The only problem I've ever experienced is with private sellers on Gunbroker and that is very uncommon to have any difficulties.

CDNN and Davidson's have both treated me well.

Bud's works well. Having to pay a local dealer to do the transfer is kind of a pain.

Through my store, I have delt with most all the major distributors. I have had good luck with all of them. They have all been in business quite a while, and are very good at what they do. They would not be in business if they did not deliver on what they promise.

A good thing about Davidsons is their Lifetime Replacement Warranty.

+1 on this. I have had them replace a Winchester that I ordered that had a finish problem. Overnighted a replacement to my dealer the next day. tu2

Had a buddy who bought a Winchester M-70 Alaskan through Buds. The gun was a nightmare, a complete lemon out of the box. It had major manufacturing flaws in addition to major cosmetic issues. Buds told him too bad so sad not our problem!!

Buds can piss up a rope as far as I'm concerned. I won't ever do business with them EVER!! Davidson's is awesome they get my vote.
