Scott,

Guess you didn't need that guide after all. Good show and congratulations.

SBT,

Congratulations on the fine ram!!!! I too was successful, hunting in Wyoming Area 5. I was on a backpack hunt, tough country, but beautiful. Our last camp was at 12,000 feet...felt like I was on top of the world! As a nonresident, it took me 24 years to draw my tag. I'll try to figure out how to post a picture or two when I get my pictures back. Sorry, I don't have a digital camera yet.

wyotyson,

I did not see any big deer up in the high country. Did see 2 does and 2 fawns heading to lower elevations after an early morning snow storm. Saw several bucks in the meadows/pastures along the rivers at low elevation on private ground while driving into the area, but nothing that was big enough to interest me. We did see one huge black bear and a very nice 5 point elk that was napping at about 11,000 feet.
