They are called "Hunt of a Lifetime" and help kids who have life threatening illnesses with hunting trips. A friend who's a fishing guide took a terminall ill boy out on a halibut and bottom fish trip in Kodiak. The guide said it was one of the best times he's ever had on the water. Last year he was layed up with back problems, and tried to get another charter opporater to offer up a trip, but not a single boat on Kodiak was willing, said commentary on the rest of the fleet.

Anyhow, great organization.

Our local chapter of SCI has voted to be a sponsor for these hunts here in Wyoming. The list of SCI members who will help out is amazing. Everything from lending their private planes to just helping out.
