After hunting for many years in most areas of Montana, a couple of friends and I have decided to "see some new country" and plan on going to the "panhandle" section of Idaho this fall.

We will be totally "green" to this area. Does anyone have any info about the area north of Sandpoint...possibly in the Bonners Ferry area. I'm in the process of acquiring some BLM and USFS maps but would also be interested in learning of any private land that may be available to responsible non-resident hunters as well.

they kill some big very big whitetail there elk hunted there several years ago it is very brushy in most areas
