Bud of mine's girlfriend had a tag. So we went out Sunday in the bitter cold temps (-20 windchill) and found this guy tucked deep in a canyon, out of the wind. Her 1st bull and a good start I think.    Never seen this before, after giving the bull the finishing shot the bull wept a milk like fluid out of its eyes  Enjoy and safe travels | ||

That's no way to get somebody their first elk. She will expect a bull that size or bigger every time now.  Nice bull and it appears to be good shooting as well. Congratulations. | |||
