This hunt was last year (winter of 14/15). It was self filmed/edited, but it is still good I take pride in not boring people to death with my videos. Nice, short, to the point.

Location: Red Bluff Ranch (my ranch)
Rifle: Weatherby Vanguard
Caliber: .308 Win
Game Boar, weight 198 lbs.

It was freezing rain, (you can hear it in the video) and I had seen this big tusked Hog on game camera before. So, I set up a pop-up and a camera, and it all worked out! Makes up for th edozen times it didn't work out.

No, this is an exceptional hog. We rarely get teeth like that in my area. I have only killed two that had big tusks like that.

He was a true 200 lb pig (ok, 198lbs) getting 200 and up is not common at all.

Ironically, we shot a 224# pig the next day and it was a sow.

The shot was a bit high, spined him and he went to sleep immediately! You can actually see the bullet in the slow motion scene.

I love shooting pigs!
