Not real big about 15 inch inside. A nice public lands buck around here.

I was still hunting along and jump him up. He ran right to left. Frist shot took him in the last rib. At the 2nd shot behind the shoulder he turn ran right towards me stopped about 25 yards put another into him and he dropped.

Its my policy to shoot them as long as they are still moving. The first shot would have killed him.

300 savage model 99 165 rem corlock at 2450fps burris 1.75x5 set at 1.75 range 35 yards very brushy
