Mountain hunting clothing company based out of California.

Started by a now deceased ex-NFL player who was one of the founders of Sitka before Gore did a corporate take over.

I like it a lot.

I also have Sitka, Browning, Swazi and some European stuff.

I wish Sitka fit was better, materials are really good, cost is very high.

Browning fit is awesome, quality is good, cost is about the same as Kuiu.

Swazi is a good deal based on New Zealand exchange rates, but it is just old fleece stuff. And the designs are archaic.

The European stuff has a strange fit.

Regardless of how great their products are.

Why support California's bullshit dealings?
Move it elsewhere.

I sort of understand where you are coming from, but there seems to be no perfect answer. No matter what you buy you are going to be supporting something less than perfect.

And being a long time Colorado resident, I'm sure that you have seen your state going the way of California for some time now. How long until we are being told to steer clear of Colorado and all its BS dealings?

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

This may come as a big shock to you, but everybody living in CA is not there just bacause they support politics you disagree with. Now, if you want to boycott them because their product is not made in USA I get that. Have fun making a list of all the stuff you have in that catigory ! Also, you might look in your pantry, odds are its got some CA product in it, further more while looking in pantry keep in mind that most likely everything in there ( and fridge) was touched by an immigrant. While all our western states are liberal by population, they are concervative by geography, just like the whole country.
But if you insist, I will put together a list of products, made, grown or mined , in liberal states that you can avoid Smiler

will start list with nosler bullets

There are more Republicans in California than there are in at least 15-20 other states by population.

Donkey strongholds abound throughout California, but there are still elephants to be found.

I'd venture to say that it would be rare for 80% of the produce you eat (seasonally of course, as a lot of it imported from Mexico and south America) is grown in California.

90% of everything you watch on TV was either shot in California, or is produced by someone in California.

Never understood the hatred for California, it is just a place.

The politics of the state are a train wreck, but that doesn't mean that the entire state isn't full of good people.

I have lived there multiple times, and while I didn't enjoy Lemoore California, we had a wonderful time in Ridgecrest.

The Northern 1/3 of the state is among the most beautiful places on the planet for mountains.

Many parts of the Mojave have deserts as beautiful as any on the planet.

The coastal California is also nice.

Not to mention the number of large breasted mattress thrashers in Southern California. Albeit some are enhanced a bit!
