BEAUTIFUL rifle, guys. It's so nice to know that not EVERYONE goes afield with a stainless steel, composite stocked rifle.

My Dad shoots a custom pre-64 Mod. 70 in 6mm. It was stocked with a georgeous piece of French walnut by some guy in New Mexico whose name I cannot remember. In fact, when I saw the rifle it reminded me of Dads.

Thanks for posting and congrats on the deer.

I rarely even notice wood but that's damn sure some gorgeous wood!!!

I confess to being a plastic and stainless kinda hunter but must admit that one day I'd like to own at least one rifle like that.

Nice buck and stogie too....

Good on yah Frank! Life is sweet eh?

Bill, Frank,...... I am dazzled by the rifle, impressed by the buck. Good job guys! Anybody that puts forth the effort to carve a piece of wood like that has my undying respect! Gotta love it when the planets align like that...
