I started hunting with my dad back in the early 60's. It was bucks-only in Missouri, and there weren't many of them around. Many hunters didn't even see a deer during hunting season back then. Now deer are everywhere, and we can shoot an unlimited number of does, in addition to our buck. My, have things changed.

No hunter orange required
No hunting allowed on Sundays
Didn't have deer around here until late 60's.
Didn't have coyotes around here either
Lead shot for ducks
Paper shot shells
Trap line after school
$40 Coons one year !
Recurve bows & cedar arrows were the best available
Used to always be standing corn during hunting season
Fence rows, wet holes and small game were everywhere
We were the only ones that hunted this area
Catfish & squirrel for camp breakfast
Got a shotgun for painting a house one summer
Shorts, longs & long rifle .22 shells available anywhere
Cut off fox ears and take to assesor for $3 bounty
