This deer was taken on a large unfenced ranch in North Central Texas. Shackelford County.

This county has produced some great deer this year. Jerry Huffaker can attest to that, he is mounting quite a few off of one of the big ranches in this area.

This guy took this deer on one of my outfitters hunts, however this guy is not my client. He scored 162 and some change.

There are still a few hunts available on this ranch for this year. The main ranch is 10,750 acres. It is not fenced. They have taken 12 bucks this year off this place and another place that they hunt. The average has been 140 this year. He said he would split the cost to a $1750 hunt fee + $1750 trophy fee if you shoot a deer if anyone wanted to come out and hut this year. Dates can be arranged just about anytime.
