Hi Guys,

Don't mean to spam the board but I came up with two more discounted hunts some might be interested in. Some pretty good prices!

I have two hunts that are cancellations at the last minute.
One in Labrador for Caribou
One in British Columbia for Moose, Goat and Grizzly
Both discounted due to cancellations.
-----------------------------------------------------------
I have a cancellation for Labrador Caribou, October 7-14. This is considered to be one of the best dates in this area for trophy Bulls. This hunt is for one hunter, if there are two hunters interested, call me and we will see what we can do with the price for two guys.

The weather will be cold and nasty, we will not see as many Caribou as some of the other hunts, but the Caribou will be in hard antler, they should be in the rut, they will have a full winter cape. It should be one of the best hunts of the season for true trophy bulls.

The normal price is $3300, one hunter is unable to fulfill his responsibility after putting down a deposit of $850. We will sell it for the balance of $2450. This includes.

License for two Caribou
Float plane from Goose Bay, Labrador to camp and return
2x1 guiding
full accommodations
food
trophy prep

There are no hidden cost or trophy fees. You will be responsible for a hotel room in Goose Bay the night before and the hunt and the night after the hunt ($50 or so) and the Canadian gun import fee ($35).

I will be on this hunt to personally oversee the operations. While it will be more difficult than ones earlier in the year, I expect a very successful hunt.
-------------------------------------------------------
My second discounted hunt is in British Columbia for 10 hunting days. It is a 1x1 Moose & Mountain Goat hunt for $4000 where a Grizzly can be taken for a $3000 trophy fee (Normal hunt price is $6200 + $3000 trophy fee for Grizz). Dates of Cancellation hunt are Sept. 14 to Sept. 25 (10 hunting days). Hunter will fly into Smithers B.C. on Sept. 13 and arrange to fly out on Sept. 26. I would like to note that this hunt is booked through 2003 for this date. This is the prime dates for this hunt! The hunter who booked this hunt had to go into the hospital and will be unable to go.

At this time of the year it is reasonable to expect very close to 100% success on the Moose and Goat for a hunter in reasonable shape. The Moose will be in the rut and the Goats are very plentiful here. Moose are averaging 48-50" and the Goats are averaging 8.1/2"-9". Wolf can be taken as well. The chances at Wolf and Grizzly are so-so. Wolf and Grizzly success is difficult to predict at this time of the year. It changes from year to year.

There are additional costs over and above the cost of the hunt and trophy fees. Licenses, , 3.5% gov. tax on the hunt cost & Charter flight.
1. Licenses
Non-resident hunting license - $102
Goat - $150
Moose - $115
Grizzly - $375
Wolf - $19
2. Hotel for one night $70
3. Government sales tax - 3.5% of the hunt (7% for Canadians) which is a govt. tax (eg: combo hunt for $6200.00 has 3.5% added or $217.00).
4. Charter flight is $600 R/T

If you are looking for a good Moose & Goat hunt with the possibility of a Grizzly, you will not beat this price.
