Anyone hunt pigs in Hawaii? I went out a few times above Waimano Home road a few years ago, but never saw anything. I'm going to give it another try while I am visiting. Any advice? I do not have any dogs.

I have never hunted on Oahu, but I did get to hunt Axis deer on Molokai. I did see quite a few hogs but on that particular island hogs are a "spear only" game animal. I had to pay $80 for a non resident liscence. I was hunting with a friend on his place so I don't know if there are any public fee hunting areas available, and I'm not familiar with the hunting regs on the other islands. The only contact info I have is to the forest and wildlife dept. I am sure they will give you the info you need, it has been years since I hunted there but I'll bet the number is still the same.
