Was looking and getting a new barrel for my encore from Authur brown. They have a deal on a scope that they market. Anyone have one of these and have a review?

I received a Brown 97D last week, and put it on a M700 223. The 'scope has excellent clarity, and is easy to set parallax. Windage and elevation controls are click-type, and much more accurate than another 'scope I was using that sells in the $375 range. For $150 I think the 97D is a very good buy! I'm taking it PD hunting this weekend, and will give a report next week.

Any others trying the Brown 97D?

Looks like a Swift. I wonder if they are made by the same outfit?

My Swifts work very well, but are in the $125-200 price range (6X18X44AO) depending on model and if on sale or not.

Would be interesting to see how these compare.
