| With 5 points you shouldn’t have any trouble pulling a cow tag, right? I don’t know Green Mountain very well, but it is supposed to be one of the best units in the state. If it’s anything like unit 100(which is right next door) you are going to have a great hunt. I took a cow elk in 100 back on 2014. I was focused on filling my tag, which I did in short order. If I had it to do over I would spend a lot more time just watching the big bulls and enjoying myself. There are some great bulls in that area.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.
Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.
