Hello: Would anyone have any information concerning Wyoming Antelope Unit #32, south of Casper? I am interested in the herd quanity/quality and public land access. Thanks.

It's a good area. Don't count on a record book buck, but you shouldn't have any problem finding a decent one in area 32. For access, there's quite a bit of public land, especially if you take advantage of the Muddy Mountain Hunter Mgt Area. If the public land or HMA is not working, there's several landowners that will let you in. That is kind of rare in Wyoming. Area 32 is popular to the Casper locals, so do not hunt on opening weekend. If you wait a few days, you will have the place to yourself.

It's a good area. I would advise you to come a few days early, and get to know the area, and the land owners. It should not be a problem to get a nice antelope there. Good hunting

Thanks for your responses, gentlemen. My application for a license for Unit 32 is in the mail. I am looking forward to my first hunt outside of the woodlands of the Northeast. Regards - pagris
