My youngest son and his hunting buddy and lifelong friend got their first Turkeys last week with some help from AR member graybird. Happy kids they are and I'm a proud dad.

Good for the good looking kids and fine looking dead birds too.

They're ahead of me at 73 I have gone once and didn't get one.

turkeys have been my nemesis for a few years now. i've hunted 5 states and have yet to pull the trigger on a tom. passed a few eastern and osceola jakes. gonna go after a couple merriams in pike forest this afternoon and tomorrow morning
