I have some openings left for spring bear in New Brunswick. Very good outfit with brand new log cabin style camp. Archery or firearm (no hand guns). Lots of good food and Maritime hospitality. Thick forest area with no resident pressure.

$1300 for a 6 day, 7 night hunt in the gorgeous Miramichi Valley region.

To answer the fishing question, it really depends on when you are there as to how good the fishing will be.

You can certainly fish while you are there but you may be between the runs, salmon and trout.

Nonetheless, during the time frames between May 8th and June 5-6th, you can certainly still catch fish. We watched a guy catch 3-4 while we were there, roughly May 24th. And he had even more bites.

Doc has it spot on. We run spring bear from May through June. The rivers may have salmon running, just depends. I have seen some trout ponds where there were plenty rising.

I will ask what the outfitter thinks about fishing. I know when I was there I took a fly rod and fished in the mornings. But I went in the fall for moose and went a few days early to do some fishing.

Gentlemen, Ann was of great assistance on my 06 Spring Bear hunt.
Her outfitter in New Brunswick and the people there went out of their way to make me feel at home,(meals were great).
Saw plenty of bear and took a very nice 79" boar.
Needless to say I had a great time.
I can't recommend Ann enough.

Thanks for the kind words, Dave. :)

I do have an e-brochure available for those who want all the details. Dave's boar is pictured at the bottom. He took a really nice bear.

For an e-brochure please send me your email address, it's a large file with photos.
