The structure of its legs is very cat like. My guess would be an african lion that got out of its cage. It is definately NOT a mountain lion.

2nd and 3rd pictures look jaguar-y, 1st looks lion-ish. A National Geographic (geez what a stupid magazine..) not long ago had details on how many mountain lions are around Los Angeles. Amazing how many have been seen, killed on highways, etc.
Take a look at its lower legs, it carries a lot more structure all the way down to its feet than your average dog does. The head is also round like a cat and not more oblong like a canine. Whatever it is, it looks like it is older because it walks like I do when I first get up in the morning!

I have to agree with the dog look-a-like because the shoulder movement is wrong for a cat. When cats walk their front shoulders project upwards more than in this video.
