I came across some Super Speed ammunition in 30-06. Appears to be 180 gr soft point, no boxes. Was it made by Winchester? And how old it could be? There is no apparent rust on cases. How about bullet construction?

Any ideas and opinion. Thanks

Saad

Winchester ammo over the years had various headstamps, "Super X", "Super Speed", etc...
Bullets were standard Winchester Power Points, most likely. It's good factory ammo, the equivalent of Remington's Core-Lokt stuff.

Don't know when they started using the "Super Speed" stamp, possibly the '50's or so???
