I am not a big fan of most hunting shows. They seem to either involve a bunch of borderline illiterates back slapping and hooting or endless footage of someone sitting on a stand interrupted by the whispered "Nice buck! Nice buck!" That said, I happened by accident to catch Into High Country with Jason Matzinger. It was very well done. Nicely filmed, edited and produced, told a story and well narrated . . . and the hunter did not even get his mountain goat. Wish there were more well done shows like this one.

Just saw that as well and had the exact same thoughts!

I see Randy Newman has a new show as well. But in general, I am watching less and less of these shows. They are all the same after a while. That is why seeing a show like TAA show AR members on a hunt is so great: sure is different.
