Had the privledge of helping a new deer hunter get their first deer. What made it even more interesting was the two coyotes that came in and tried for a free meal off this deer before we recovered it.

Congrats to the hunter! Where are the pics of the dead coyotes, surely you didn't let them get away!

Congrats again!

Congratulations to the new hunter!

We all need to be introducing new hunters to the world of hunting... Wives, daughters, sons, the kid down the road that would like to go but Dad doesn't hunt..... We each need to do our share!!

Unfortunately, they did get away. Dana's husband did not have a real good shot due to the brush. I really wish he had killed one or both of the bastages.

Congrats to the new "deer hunter" and thanks for sharing. Every year I make it a point a take "newbies" out for their first deer. My only ask of them is that they continue the tradition by taking someone out for their first deer hunt after they feel confident in their abilities. It is after all the future of our sport and every new hunter should bring a smile to our faces.
