My experience has been similar to yours. My loads are just a few fps slower in a 20" bull-barreled .308 WCF, and on-game performance has been excellent. Ditto for the 7mm, 140 grain version, which I've used in guns with MVs ranging from 2480 fps to 3150 fps.

I consider them too much of a good thing for our smaller south central Texas deer, but they certainly do a number on hogs.

I have similar results with a 150 gr SST.

Harvest two deer this past weekend back home in Nebraska.
