Well we had another successful pronghorn antelope season this year in Texas. We shot bucks ranging from 72 7/8 - 82 5/8.
I hope you enjoy the pics.

It looks like Jeremy beat me to the punch. The Posse had another great pronghorn with him. We hunted hard with several long stalks. We even caught a poacher from Oklahoma. It was cooler this year and we didn't see one rattlesnake....a plus.

The hunt started off a bit on the scary side. One of our guys had his truck broadsided by a big mulie buck just before sunup on his way to the ranch. My truck got one mile inside the main gate to the ranch and my alternator died. The good news is that everything got better from there.

Carl's truck.

My trucks "resting place".

Another shot of my buck.

Jeremy and Sara's ranch, Buffalo Springs, has an amazing history. It is a part of the old XIT Ranch, which I know many of you are familiar with. The XIT was the largest fenced ranch in the world with over 3 million acres. The old headquarters was located at Buffalo Springs and is now part of Jeremy and Sara's ranch.

This is a shot to the old XIT headquarters. Our lodge was about 75 yards away. It those old trees could talk!

We passed these whitetail twins and their mom down in the spring on our way in.

Bob: congrats on a great hunt, great trophy, with a good outfitter. Can't beat that old XIT country. I believe there is a world record antelope lurking in west Tx/or panhandle ranch country. Gary
