I live in southwest Louisiana now,Grew up in Texas.Hunting here is all together diffrent. Nothing but pine trees for miles.There are a few oaks in the bottom land.I have planted every thing under the sun,corn,soy beans,cow peas,winter peas, im clover,all types of bio logic.Deer just stick their noses up at it.I have corn feeders but the only thing eating from them is hogs. help,help please Thank you . | ||

Have you tried moving the feeders around to different areas? If your feeders are portable, you can use them to determine where the food plots need to be. Deer don't like cross open areas if they don't have to, so there needs to be cover for the deer to get to the food. It should also be as far from human activity as possible. Good spots include the corner of a clearing or the inside turn of a creek or ditch. It seems odd that the deer would shun food plots in a non agricultural area. | |||
