I am looking to see if a brown or grizzly bear hunt can be had for 7 days or less? Is this practicle?
What time of year is best?
Thanks to all who can offer any advice! [Big Grin]

Yes, it is very practical. There are several routes available, I like the live-aboard boat hunts for the coastal bears because of the ability to move daily if required.

I have a very good outfitter in Alaska for Brown and Black Bear. He will do a Brown Bear on a 10-day hunt, I would not recommend any less than this.

He gives his hunters a Black Bear in the package free of charge.

It is a very good hunt. $10,000 for 10 days, 1x1 hunt.

Here is the "skinny" on it. http://www.huntersquest.com/BrownBear.html
