-The 30-06 is like a perfect steak next to a campfire, a .300 Win Mag is the same but with mushrooms and a baked potato-

Check in reloading....Kraky beat you and me both to posting the video.

Very cool to watch though.

What I'd really like to see is Barnes shoot a TSX at high speed, close range, and attempt to shed the petals from the bullet, and watch what the petals do as secondary damage.

Anyone know where I can get ballistic gel?

Heck, I'll do my own high speed photography with a 110 TSX, 130, in 270, the 30 cal 150 from a 300RUM, and the 168 from my .06. Still have some 7mm I can shoot from the good old 7mag.

John Burns shot a 150 TSX from his 7STW at a box full of wet newspaper at 700 yards and it still penetrated almost 30 inches.

I know it's not the best test, but it's a decent one.

Was it just me, or did it seem as though the bullet was still expanding as it exited the block and didn't reach it's full expansion until it had passed through?

Looked to me like the petals were still on their way back, but, in case you missed it,

LOOK AT THE GEL!!

That block was only 16". Imagine a quartering shot on a nice bull moose.

Looks to me like most of the damage is in the first 8-10 inches! Pretty impressive! (of course that's the same with most bullets Big Grin)
