I recently heard a report of a huge Canada Whitetail that got shot illegally that beats Milo Hansen's buck by 40 inches!! If anyone knows any information on this deer and where I can get a pic, please post!

It was shot one half hour after sunset confiscated by fish and wildlife and scores 199 and some. A typical buck that outscores Milo's by 40 inches is referred to around here as an Elk .

40 inches?? I don't believe a buck will EVER be 40 inches larger than the Hanson buck. Yeah, there will someday be bigger, but not that much.

The Hanson buck is striking, with superior symmetry, balance side to side, tine length, not great mass, but is probably one of the finest typical twelve points ever taken so far. Had the Hanson buck had the great mass that buck taken after legal shooting time does it may never be eclipsed. That confiscated buck has 10" diameter main beams more than twice the diamter of the Hanson buck. Deductions for poor symmetry side to side make its net score much less. The Hanson buck is one beautiful example of the almost perfect whitetail rack. If the Canadian Hanson buck is ever toppled, my bet is it will come from the US states of Ohio, or Iowa. Both those farm belt states produce incredible bucks year after year. Ohio's high human population in relation to limited land mass available to hunt, yet monster bucks live and thrive in Ohio's farm belt, and are harvested every deer season in Ohio.
