I was at the range today sorting out my final load for my upcoming hunt and noticed something weird. I was shooting about 1/2" left at 100 yards, so I took 1 click to the right. The group moved stright to the right, but it moved 1 1/2 " !!!! I also noticed this on the up/down clicks. Has anyone else nothiced the very coarse clicks (meaning not 1/4 MOA ) on these Burris scopes ??? Elite Archery and High Country dealer.

Question, what group size does your rifle usually produce for you? Now if your rifle usually produces one hole groups I'd have to say that the scope has some problems. But if you are getting 1&1/2 inch, or even 1 inch groups you may just be experiencing normal variation given the group size. I've used Burris scopes, including the Balistic-Plex, now for several years and had no problems at all that could be traced to the scope. Hot vs. cold barrel, clean vs. dirty yes but once I got the rifle and scope on the same page the results have been exceptional.

Actually , I'm pretty much talking about one hole groups, .25 MOA or less !!! I surely hope I'm not experiencing a scope problem this close to a hunt. The adjustments all seem to work, just too large !! When I set the scope up, I used Burris Signature rings and the offset bushings to zero the scope at its "optical center". I always try to do that to avoid any adjustment problems. I'm not more than 5 clicks either way fron the scopes center.I'll try it again , but I have noticed this about this particular scope since I mounted it on the rifle. Maybe I'll call Burris on tuesday and see what they think. Elite Archery and High Country dealer.
