To everyone I have ever asked about Africa or American Hunts, thanks for the info, however I won't be going anywhere for a little while.

Yes it is still a passion, but PA Deer and East Coast Hogs are going to have to satisfy me for a bit longer. I sit here with the news that I am, at the age of 44, going to be a proud father once again. What a shock!

I was preparing much more for the day my daughters graduated from college, and got careers, and then made me a grandpop. Now, there is another education to pay for, 20 some more years of the "child noises" around my place and well, you know all the rest.

The wife is only 36. Her first biological child. My first wife passed away, my wife now has been with my children since ages 6 and 8. They are 18 and 20 now.

WISH ME LUCK, I'M GOING TO NEED IT!

Oh yeah, and anyone who feels this is out of line on the reloading board, I apologize in advance.

It is just that I know some of you through e-mails, and others like Ray Atkinson, through this forum. Ray, I love reading your postings, I think you might be my favorite "gun write" at this point. And Saeed, who seems to welcome everyone like a brother.

So thank you for any luck and prayers you send our way.

Sincerely, A & M Frederick

Congratulations! Another reminder that despite all the tragedy that may take place on this earth, new life is brought to this earth every day. You are blessed, but I'll wish you luck anyway.

And good luck on any upcoming hunts. While you're hunting those wily whitetails and hogs, just remember, there are thousands of hunters out there that would give their left arm to come over to this continent to hunt too. You're living an adventure!

Best regards,

Canuck

Wolf deer and hog hunting are enough to keep the interest going and then some. I still think, even after all the exotic stuff ive done in the last 4 to 5 years, that Bow-Hunting whitetail deer is the most challneging and rewarding sport ive ever done.

Youv been blessed to have your kids, my only regret in life is in not having more kid's, and your still a kid ; You have plenty of hunting time left, each thing in its season.

Right now just enjoy being a new daddy. and congratulation's............10

Congratulations to the two of you. And, no, your post is not out of line or off subject as you feared.

You didn't think it was loaded..?

Just kidding (sorry, no pun intended), all my best wishes to you and yours... You'll be pellet gun shopping in a few years then?

...After all, this is the Big Game Hunting section!

Congratulations! And congratulations to your lucky wife too!

As a side note, when we were expecting our third one one of the common questions I kept getting was "have you figured out what was causing this yet?" and I would say "Yeah, the TV!" and when they would ask how I would say "We never had this problem until the TV broke!".......

Congratulations! My wife died 4 years ago of breast cancer ( October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month). I have a girlfriend whose youngest grandchild is now 2. Watching her grow up makes me realize all the things I missed while I was "Making a living and running a business". You'll enjoy it more the second time around and when this one's out of high school you'll still have time to hunt By then the Afrikaners will be back running their own country. Lotta quail out there in the Southeast in the meantime.
