The California draw results have been published, and has been my norm, nothing exciting. I did draw a second choice C ticket for deer which is marginally better that an open zone. I guess better than nothing

Anybody here draw Elk, Sheep, Antelope or deer X-Zone?

Good luck on your hunt!
Not sure if you are hunting Blacktails or Mulies but I grew up hunting Blacktails in Western Oregon and I do miss it.

Mostly black tails except for the x-zones, could get lucky along the border areas of C and X-4, a few mule deer in C-1 along the Oregon Border.

On any account, thanks for the good wishes. Smiler

Don't believe the hype Larry. There are some great hunting opportunities in California.

6 points finally got me a non-resident X Zone tag this year. I'm stoked. Smiler

Just got the local A zone buck tag, but that's a "given" as we can still buy 2 buck tags over the counter for this area.

If anyone draws a La Panza elk, bull or cow, I've got connections to a couple ranches that are real reasonable on their prices. Not great trophy quality, but they're priced accordingly.
