How does everyone feel about harvesting bucks in velvet where legal?

If it's legal then there must be plenty of or to many deer so I don't see a thing wrong with it. Bottom line is ya can't eat the horns weather there in velvet or not.

You can also strip the velvet and still have a head to mount. I often shoot muntjac in velvet. They not only don't have a specific time for being in velvet but it is hard to see that they are in velvet over 80yds or so.

I have peeled and boiled a couple of freak heads and they have turned out fine albeit all white.
