Craig Boddington would know, he rents office space from them. Next time I get to town I'll swing by and see if they are still there.

Pretty dumb of their part to locate in Ca to start with given it's tax code and anti-business bias.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

+1 This is a horrible state to try to do business in. If I weren't 4th generation I would leave too.

The demoncrats have dominated California government for decades and they've tanked the state - IT'S BANKRUPT and business is leaving in droves.

Yet, the Republicans seem unable to exploit this example of anticapitalistic socialism to promote their adgenda. Even a republican governor cannot undue what the demoncratic socialists have done!! Mad

AI user,

Tough to get votes when so many of the voters want to continue getting their free checks and/or continue to reside in CA versus Mexico.

ABSOLUTELY TRUE. when your average voter is making barely above minimum wage- or no wage at all- Democrats that continually keep the public trough will of slop will feed a lot of pigs- ugh, i mean voters.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

Since this thread has morphed into a California critique, I'll jump in.

I lived in California from the summer of 1986 until March 1993. I went to law school in San Francisco, Nancy Pelosi's district.

I left in 1993 for two reasons: (1) I knew with all the iniative/referendum mandatory spending that at some point the state would be in a fiscal mess and (2) I'm originally from the east coast, and I prefer to live here in Pennsylvania.

I loved California, and will visit from time to time, but it is in my estimation a terrible place to do business.

My prophecy is that the majority of Californians will have had enough with Sacramento in 2010, and they will throw most of the bums out.

As California goes, so will the rest of the nation.

By the way, I saw what Nancy Pelosi wants, San Francisco's political landscape overlaid onto the rest of the country. I can tell you from living in the Tenderloin for four years that her vision is a complete nightmare.

Sincerely,

Chris Bemis

There is a thread on this over on NE.

It seems it is all about the registration of business names. The CA mob have the name 'Rigby' and after the old registration of the business name 'John Rigby & Co London' lapsed, a new consortium has picked it up. Something to that effect has occured.

Aren't CA Rigbys modified Merkels with a larger price tag ?
