Here's what I am looking for:

Turkey hunt is West Texas for 2-3 hunters--I live in El Paso.

No guide. No meals.

Lodge or bunkhouse if possible

4 days, 2 birds

Of course a good turkey population

Reasonable price. $800 is not reasonable in my book.

You might try:

Randall's outfit is going to be about as reasonable as you can find. Keep in mind though that for 4 days $800 isn't all that much.

A lot of turkey hunting places start at $1500 and go up from there.

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.

Thanks for the response Ryan.

I am aware of the many $1500 turkey hunts in Texas. However, I have had great hunts the last four years for under $800. I hunted a ranch on the Devil's River with plenty of turkey last year...3 days, 1 Tom, $750. Unfortunatley, they aren't allowing hunting on that ranch this year.

I would also be interested in a similarly priced hunt on private land in Southern NM.
