was just sitting around and remembering. Those days when you were out bear hunting, sheep hunting etc. sitting around the campfire with the old half cowboy guide. it'd be toward the end of the hunt and the bottle of brandy would get exposed. after 2 or 3 the old guide would start telling some of his stories. They go on forever, it'd be the wee hours of the morning when he'd finally fall asleep. For years i've threatened to take a little tape recorder along and record some of those stories. Never have gotten it done, but i think a recording of them would be worth a million dollars. Come to think of it I'm on my way to zambia soon & i could pack a tape recorder this time.

I've got some video of a couple PH's around the campfire in RSA. One of them in particular was a very talented story teller. I wish I had gotten more!

Cheers,
Canuck

Butch,

That should be real interesting. Particularly the part were after a half bottle of JW you drone on about the merits of the double rifle, your 40" sitatunga etc. until Diane drags you to bed by the ear. God help your PH on this one.
