I hunted down in LaSalle county this weekend with my Dad on fellow AR member M16's El Mino Ranch. Though it was rather warm for this time of year, the bucks were showing just enough interest to move in the early morning and late afternoon hours. I took this 7.5 year-old buck Saturday morning around eight o'clock at around 120 yards with a Davenport custom in 7x57 shooting 145 grain silvertips. Thanks Larry! A great time and an excellent buck who is safe in Joe Hibler's capable hands right now. Good Hunting!

It was a pleasure having you and your dad down at the ranch. Wish the weather had been a bit cooler but it all worked out. I followed the cool front back down and the deer movement has increased dramatically. Bucks are running hard. Thanks for coming and congrats again on your fine buck. Thanks for making a great shot.
