Do I need a guide to hunt bear in North Carolina ?

Any good ones you would recommend ?

A guide is not required. Access to good bear hunting will be extremely difficult to find. I know a fellow who has a lease in the best bear hunting area in eastern Carolina, who is looking for paying hunters. Get back to me if you want his contact info. Several bear over 500 lbs. were taken in the vicinity last year. He primarily uses the lease for bow hunting deer. I personally saw 2 very good bears while hunting only a few days on his lease.
